The Ministry of Labour has officially announced the dates for the Eid al-Fitr holiday for the year 1445 AH in Oman. The holiday will commence on Tuesday, April 29, 2024 (corresponding to the 29th day of Ramadan) and continue until Friday, May 2, 2024.

This four-day holiday applies to all employees in the public and private sectors, as well as schools and other educational institutions. The holiday is marked by prayer, festivities, and gatherings with family and friends.

During the Eid al-Fitr holiday, many businesses, government offices, and other public services may be closed or operate on reduced hours. It is advisable to plan any necessary errands or appointments accordingly.
