Manchester City arrived in Spain in style on Tuesday ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday. The English champions touched down in Madrid on a chartered plane and were greeted by a large crowd of fans at the airport.
The match will be the sixth meeting between the two sides in the last five seasons, with Manchester City winning three of the previous five encounters. The most recent meeting was in the 2022 Champions League semi-finals, which City won 4-0 on aggregate.
City will be looking to get off to a good start in the first leg and take a lead back to Manchester for the second leg next week. However, they will face a tough test against a Real Madrid side that is in excellent form, having won their last six matches in all competitions.
The match will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on Wednesday, April 26, at 8 pm local time.
