Spain Edge Georgia in World Cup Qualifier
Olmos' Late Strike Seals Victory
Georgia 1-2 Spain
WEB Dani Olmos' injury-time strike gave Spain a 2-1 win in Georgia on Sunday as the 2010 world champions got their campaign to qualify for the 2022 World Cup off to a winning start.
Spain had looked set to drop points after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's first-half goal cancelled out Ferran Torres' early opener, but Olmos popped up in the 92nd minute to snatch all three points for the visitors.
The result leaves Spain top of Group B after the opening round of fixtures, with Sweden and Greece drawing 1-1 in the other game.
