Hertha Rühmann, the widow of actor Heinz Rühmann, has died at the age of 93. She passed away peacefully at her home in Aufkirchen, surrounded by her loved ones.
Rühmann was born Hertha Droemer on February 23, 1923. She began her career as an actress in the 1940s and went on to appear in more than 50 films and television shows.
She was best known for her roles in "Im sechsten Stock" (1954), "Alles oder nichts" (1956), and "Kein" (1957). She also wrote several books, including "Mein Leben mit Heinz Rühmann" (1984).
Rühmann was married to Heinz Rühmann from 1974 until his death in 1994. She is survived by her children from her first marriage.
